My wife and I contacted Stone Solutions Maine to remove a crumbling riprap wall that surrounded our front yard. After much research and receiving great word of mouth reviews we landed on Rob Howard.

Rob’s promptness, knowledge, and vision of our needs sealed the deal for us.
The crumbling wall 50’x80’ x 6’ tall had zero access to our front door with large rocks falling to our driveway and the street constantly. Our house was the eyesore of our well landscaped neighborhood. We are now the envy of our neighbors, with several stopping to admire and compliment the job throughout the progression of the project.

In the end the job was completed on budget and on time. We now have a beautiful wall with granite steps to a visually pleasing upper walkway leading to a granite front porch that Rob completed with skill and integrity.

The following year we had rob return to set granite curbing around the wall and couldn’t be more pleased with the results.

Side note: I am a homeowner that does everything from woodworking to plumbing and electrical as well has my own car and motorcycle repairs. I pride myself on not having to call for help… this project was not one I could handle and Stone Solutions Maine was the best decision I could have made as I was not prepared for the amount of work involved.

After being in our newly built home for 2 years, all we could envision was having a beautiful and functional space in the backyard – that vision started with wanting a patio. Additionally they leveled out the area and added a French drain to ensure the water ran away from the house.
